1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. In mixing bowl, cream butter with sugar. Beat in eggs.
3. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
4. Stir macadamia nuts into butter mixture.
5. Stir in half the flour to creamed butter.
6. Add pineapple and stir well.
7. Stir in remaining flour mixture. Mix to smooth consistency.
8. Pour batter into greased springform pan.
9. Bake 1 hour.
