Dutch Hot Chocolate

Perfect on a cold winter day, as a late night ender, or anytime the taste buds want a burst of chocolate, this classic recipe is sure to please.

Ingredients -

1-1/2 cups Milk
2 heaping teaspoons Cocoa Powder
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 cup Ground Dark Chocolate (use chocolate that has 60% or more cocoa content)
Ground Nutmeg or Cinnamon, to taste

 
Preparation:

1. Add milk to saucepan. Heat to just below boiling.

2. Whisk in cocoa powder, granulated sugar, ground dark chocolate and nutmeg or cinnamon.
