Christmas Fudge

Evaporated milk, sugar, butter, and salt combined with chocolate, marshmallows and vanilla. Mixture is allowed to cool and cut into squares.
Ingredients -
1 can (12 ounces size) Evaporated Milk
4 cups Sugar
1 stick Butter (not margarine)
1 dash Salt
1 package (12 ounces size) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 jar (7 ounces size) Marshmallow Fluff
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
 
Preparation:

1. Heat evaporated milk, sugar, butter, and salt in large saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly.

2. Eventually mixture will bubble.

3. Drop mixture into ice water. When a drop of mixture forms a soft ball, remove from heat.

4. Quickly stir in chocolate chips, marshmallow fluff, and vanilla.

5. Blend until smooth.

6. Pour into a lightly buttered 9 x 13 pan and allow to cool.

7. Cut into squares.

Chocolate

Coarsely chopped chocolate should be melted in a double boiler. Melt, stirring until smooth. Remove the top from the bottom as soon as the chocolate is in a liquid state.

Chocolate in the Microwave
If melting chocolate in the microwave, use a micro-wave safe container and microwave 2-4 minutes at medium power. The chocolate will be mostly liquid and shiny. Stir to melt any remaining solid.
